I have ten blogs that need some tweaking and monetizing. Can someone tell me which way to start with affiliateships and what are the best to go on first? I am having a website built also on Investments with a section also on the environment and investing in alternative energies too and health. I am a novice in these fields so need help. I am new to seo and this kind of stuff so want to learn step by step. A few things to consider: 1) What is the theme/topic of each of your blogs a. try to tie your content to a product which represents something your visitor might need or want in relationship to your content. b. Join many affiliate programs/networks and view their products to see if these products match your content. c. Search Google using some of the keywords you find in your blogs (subjects), does it come up in the top 2-3 pages? If so, place banners, text ads, whatever, in your blog and point your visitor to a product that is complimentary to the topic in your blog. d. You say one of your blogs will be about "Investments". Go to the "categories" of any affiliate network and look under the "financial" category for products that have a high conversion rate and EPC listing. (EPC and lots of other terms can be encoded at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affiliate_Marketing) Stay at DP and others will post suggestions, etc. each time you ask questions. I am lucky I have a terrific webmaster who is helping me build my main site..so I will do some research anbd give it to him as we go along..he is an seo expert which is great and will be able to place all the affiliate things where they will be search friendly too..God bless and I am getting nicely warmed up in here now..
