So why didn't you just buy an online game or something... Why buy a script that you have to upload to your own hosting if you just wanted something to play round friend? what is the point of all that...? I doubt you'll have much fun with a "text based rpg2" ether. They are very out-dated.
You sir are misinformed, text based rpgs are still going strong and dont show any chances of falling in popularity as they enable the player to olay from anywhere and everywhere without any download or anything, just need a browser and internet
well the game will be released and make some money . at least some to pay for the host and domain back to subject at hand....can someone at least point me in the right direction so i can find the help i am lookin for ? i realize these type of games are old style ,,,but i still play 3 of them and i have friends that play more---and if you look at those sites ...some have 4-5000 people online every hour ,,so i guess we are a different type of gamer
MMORPG's are for the players who have the time to download clients to play games etc, text based games are still running strong because they are portable and can be played from anywhere without a downwd required. Some text based games have upto 50-100K user onlines at peak hours
