I was wondering if I can have receive some feedback about a custom video I had made for my website. A girl is sitting in meditation while talking about my meditation music mp3 products. I made it so that the girl appears in the middle of a animated gif image, and meditation music is also playing while she is speaking. The music, the gif, and the video all load separately. My concern is all this may cause the webpage to load slowly on some slower computers. It works fine on my laptop, but might possibly load slow on slower computers. Also some computers won't be able to read javascript, ot it might not be enabled, in which case the girl won't appear. I am hoping I can get feedback from different sources if you have time to look at it: http://musicmefree.com Thank you.
You can edit the video and add the music, you could also open the video with the graphic. Fade the music out slowly but it should end. It is distracting and the natural action will to click on the video controls to turn the music off, this could be a usability issue for site visitors. Very good proof of concept, now just merge all three elements. - Pat
I just found out that on larger computers the girl appears in a different position, way outside the flowing water picture. I only have a small 1000px laptop to work with. So I had to change it so the girl appears in a fixed position and will be in the same spot on all computer sizes. I am not sure how to add the photo behind her while in a fixed position. Also I put the music and photo in a different area on the website and will turn off the autoplay so it does not play while she is speaking. Perhaps I can later combine the video with music.
very interesting website, but i can't see the girl appears on my laptop, may because of my bandwidth is to small, i hope this is helpful. success with your web.
