i bought a vbulletin forum from someone and this is what we did so far.. he transferred the domain to me over godaddy.. then the VB would not show up.. it landed on a parking page.. i changed name servers to MY hosting.. host gator.. i now added on the domain to my host gator.. but where are the VB files? where would he have them... like to transfer to my host gator.. they said you have to do this also.. you have to back up the my sql database and also the home directory. i have vbulletin.com members and he said: first download the files where it says download.. there is already files on the server.. the vb info has all of the vb files. once hosting is up click download (in the vb area) that will give you the original files and then you have to overwrite everything if u can help do this, im paying!!!
Go Back to the Person from whom u purchased The VB Forum .. Ask Him to give u the backup of home directory and fresh SQL Backup aswell from PhPMyAdmin or what ever spft he uses
