I want to run a contest where everyone that registers will be entered to win the prize. In the process they must agree to allow me to send them my newsletters. Can anyone recommend a script like this? Do I need a double opt-in for this or email confirmation? Or would I be better off asking them to register on my forum? Thanks for any advice or comments
If you want to send them all regular emails, get an autoresponder like AWeber.com. If you just want to be able to contact them once, you could probably force them to sign up as a user on your forum. Double opt-in is always better because it protects you from spam complainers.
