Hello, I have a few hundred clips and I want to set up my own online TV and stream live tv. Can anyone please help me and tell me how I can do that? What kind of software and server do I need for this and how much would it cost? Thanks
checkout mythtv http://www.mythtv.org and http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/stream_mythtv_recordings_from_mythweb_using_flash_video It is open source so if you needed to you could customise it, but there are already plugins to let you stream video to just about anything including cell phones. The software is free the hardware is not, and the cost of the hardware will depend on what you need it to do.
