I Need an International Payment Processor

    I am a new online merchant of an adult retail gift store. I just had a major setback because I went through the entire process of setting up a merchant account and just when I was in the process of being walked through setting up the payment process for my site, I was told by the banker that they did not work with adult sites. (no one at the bank checked the site in the month it took to get to this point!?)

    I have been using PayPal, but many shoppers seem to stop when they get to that point in the checkout process (I can see this by viewing my site tracking statistics). I have contacted PayPal 3 times to find out if there is something in their processing that may be stopping international shoppers, but haven't received any responses to any email since I first set up the PayPal business account and just get hung up on when I call.

    So my question is: what are some suggestions for international payment processing? Mainstream banks don't seem to want the business.

    :confused:

    would have told moneybookers myself but just saw that they don't accept it

    Moneybookers does NOT accept merchants from the following industries:

    * Adult/erotic

    have you tried google checkout?

    Try e-gold. I know they accept adult sites with the added bonus of a no refund policy.

    The problem here is not his country, it´s the "industry" he wants to use it for.

    don't tell moneybookers your real industry. just tell them something else or try to hide from them

    thanks for the replies. right now i am filling out the epassporte application. i will also check out e-gold.

    i do not want to hide what i do from anyone. i did not try to hide it from the previous banker. it is funny because they keep sending me email and snail mail encouraging me to use the account. seems even after our conversation last week "the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing". :rolleyes:

    CCBill does it. High fees but they legally allow business like your one.
