Thanks for the site, WireNine. BTW some people seem to have issues with Dreamhost. They had frequent downtimes and also their customer support takes forever to respond. Someone even said their server is slow. I am re-thinking whether I should go for them. Also I found Servage.net. At $6.45 per month, their offer is pretty cool too. Anyone using them?
I dont know why people find it hard to understand but when shared hosting providers are providing ridculas amounts of Space and Bandwidth they are clearly overselling which if you ever want have a good sucessful site those hosts are worthless... like i said do not look at the numbers when looking for a host. Look at there support, service, etc. You wont ever be able to use 250gb HD/ 2100GB Bandwidth ever on a shared hosting plan lol do some research it is very helpful. Why you ask because your cpu usage and ram usage will be limited then your sites will go down well before those numbers. Stop looking for overselling hosts
I am not looking for overselling hosts. My requirement is a host which offers atleast 5GB space, 50 GB data transfer and unlimited domains. all at $5-$8 a month.
Servage.net and dreamhost are both overselling hosts... anyway if you need that space i can provide it to for $10 a month but other then that I recommend looking at webhostingtalk.com there is tons of useful information there and hundreds of hosting offers. Check it out
i use cirtexhosting.com and servage.com - been happy with both - servage much more robust but not as user friendly(no cpanel/fantastico - just high quality hosting)
Didn't know servage didnt have cPanel? How is their interface? Is it difficult to manage? Anyone knows if dreamhost has cPanel.
As far as I can tell, Dreamhost does not have cPanel either. It isn't on their extended feature list for shared hosting at least...
check my siggy link... i m sure u'll love their service n they have best support as per my knowladge buy cpanel hosting only
