so i contacted a programmer who's selling one script, i asked about the price and we agreed on $155 and he will install the script and make me a template, the template was promised to be on within one week. The one week passed, i contacted him and he said within two days he will put it on. within two days the template was not on, i sent him another email and he didn't respond, instead, he installed one template that looks EXACTLY the same with another website using the same script, my template looked exactly the same and even if you click on anything it will take you to another site! i contacted him, he didn't respond, then again after 3 days, still no response... after one week i sent him an email asking him to refund my money, as i have wasted my time and paid for a VPS for nothing! he finally responded to me telling me that his father was ill and he didn't get the chance to finish the job and that he will finish it within 2 days (promised by Fri.) now it's Fri, i sent him an email and he didn't respond, the template did not change, nothing have changed... so what should i do with him? i know no one would lie of his father's illness to execuse him self... but... i just found out that he still comes to DP regulary!!! yesterday he was online here! then why the hell he's not doing anything to my project??? please guys tell me what should i do... i don't think anyone would have the time to come to forums but no time to do his duty by fulfilling his customer's need. should i write a thread and post screen shoots of emails between us and post his name in public and ask him to defend him self? please note that he received the money in 30th of June, the template should have been on in 10th of July but since then nothing have changed.... thanks for reading and i look forward for your advice..
Simply, PM him to deliver your product or script within next 24 hours otherwise you will open a dispute in Paypal. I hope you used PayPal to pay... !! And if he doesn't delivers then simply do a chargeback and get back your money ! - Digital -
yeah i did used Paypal ... but not throu his site, i just entered my Paypal page and clicked on Send Money and i wrote a mesage that this $155 is for the script and the Template... would paypal back charge me this? i never tried it before... Thanks for the Tip! Rep+
