    What type of fund raiser is it? I've only helped raise money before :eek: organizing it is much more difficult (especially finding grants and such)

    Plan and get the word out. Many fundraisers fail because nobody knows about them.

    Yep...My best advice is get someone else to run...It is a time consuming and thankless job. I coordinated a huge fundraiser event for 6 months. Put some heavy hours into it. Raised thousands of dollars. Not a mention. Wasn't looking for a mention, but would have been nice.
