Others used it to test if that is a good product to promote. Once there is some sales, people will use SEO to get their pages to rank well.

Like others have mentioned, start out with some Adwords coupons so you try some test campaigns, that way you can see how well certain ads do.

In Google two type of Ad words option first is a (PPC) pay per click and second is (CPM) cost per thousand. You are trying to sell digital products, I think you chose first option PPC pay per click, Because is it the better option your products publicity in Google. Google text contains a one headline with 25 characters each and two additional headline contains 35 characters each in PPC.

Well, try to test for a while with a small sum and compare attendance, although it depends very much on the text ads. Sometimes attendance depends on minor changes in wording.

I used the $75 AdWords coupon that I found in Inc magazine and had alright results. Any lack of performance in my campaigns was due to my choice of ad copy and campaign strategy rather than the AdWords service itself.

Adwords is more of an art than science. If you want to do it right, you need to use a PPC tool. I use Speed PPC.

I wouldn't mess with it unless you really know how to do it or you will throw away money.

Basically you need to know how to do proper keyword research, set-up tightly-themed ad groups (max 2-3 very similar keywords per group), include the keyword in the ad title, ad body, and have a landing page specific for the ad, which has keywords in the title tag, description tag, H1, and in the content (this is for your quality score). There is a lot more to it than meets the eye. I am happy to answer any questions you have about it if you want to try.

Adwords works with almost all kinds of products.
All you need is set your budget and choose a strong keyword list.
