I need Advice on my site - It's relatively good

Hey, I'm new to the forum, but I'm new to the forum so I can't post in the buy sell or trade area. My site has been around for over a year, it got hacked into and i just recently fixed it so all the old posts are back on the blog. It uses flexibility theme and well just take a look http://ultrabonusandtruereviews.com

My reasons for selling it (which I'm not doing right now) is because I don't like doing reviews... and the other reason is because I need to pay some bills real soon. So please, anyone who has the knowledge, let me know what you think my site could go for. It pings regularly and I resubmitted it to the search engines the other day. I was pretty sure it was indexed last year but that must have been my free site that I indexed.

I just want someone PRICE opinion on the site. After I'm here for a while I'll ask if anyone wants to buy it-if I still have it then. I'm looking to sell just the site or the site with the domain. I use justhost so I don't know if that plays a role in trying to sell it. Alright, please let me know your thoughts.

Ya know, the site looks decent, but you might have a hard time selling it. It has a PR of 0 (not ALWAYS a bad thing), but it also doesn't get a ton of traffic. Think of it from the other point of view: a buyer wants to know what its worth the them, which sometimes translates into how much revenue it is currently bringing in.

I don't want to discourage you, but its going to be real tough finding someone to pay anything substantial for that site.

Well to get an approximation of how much a site is worth you should for example know basic data about it like how much revenue it generates for you every month, what's the number of unique visitors and pageviews, etc. I think there was a thread here on DP that went into detail about that stuff to help out people like you.
Not sure where it went now but you could try searching for it.

Thanks for the quick reply, Teecamo. Thanks for the kind comment too. Maybe I can just get cracking on it and it'll get up in the rankings, then see about selling it. I've already sent to the mass ping and feed sites and resubmitted to the search engines.

heres 2 question-do I need to SEO all the old posts or should I simply only do that for the future posts? &
Back when it got hacked into the hacker put tons of malicious code that either made windows pop up or something cause when I finally found out that the blog was hacked I saw all these website addressed in all the php pages...i got rid of them, or atleast what I assumed was the malicious code, and then when I tried to access my site my browser said that this domain is unsafe or reported a threat...do you know how to find out info like that? (where to find out if my site is safe or if its penalized) I immediately emailed or contacted microsoft to tell them the situation but I never recieved a reply.

    Thanks again for the help,teecamo

Thanks. I will definately search that out. But I can tell you right now the unique visitors were only high one week and that was when using a paid contextual traffic source that did not give any results...but who knows maybe it did do results I think the hacker somehow overlapped his/her(dont want to be sexist) google adsense over mine. Because it has been sitting on 47 cents for over a year...and I even clicked on it when I finally realized the ad wasn't mine and guess what, no click reported.

Have you ever heard of someone overlapping adsense? Right now I'm only getting 5 views per day but I'm pretty sure they're all me, so I don't expect clicks. But back when I had a swarm of about a 1000 views You would think atleast 1 person would have clicked on the ads lol

Thanks again for your help, Markgmktg.

Post this in the "Buy, Sell and Trade" section to get more relevant replies. I guess there is a way to see it by auctioning the websites also

My first impression of that site, I was distracted by the loud colors. Some of the text, like gray on brown, is very hard to read.

I'd play around with other wordpress themes; there are lots of good default themes out there. Unless you're really outstanding with design, you're probably better off picking a simple, clean-and-professional looking theme that someone else made rather than trying to do it all yourself.

Also, some of your links look a little spammy, and that makes a bad impression. If I were you, I'd cut down the total number of outgoing links. If you want to link to a lot of your own sites, put those links on an "About" page unless they're directly relevant. Also, link to more high-quality sites. Your site will look more legit if you link to the best sites in your field.

    Good luck.
