I believe Yahoo is worth it because people
search in it (I do too sometimes)
plus they put your link in many REGIONAL dirs

Of course yes, those are authority sites so they will for sure help your site visibility.

I want to admit that every backlink helps, whether its yahoo or something else.

 

All 03 directories listed above are authoritive therfore, could give you a strong backlink. But, remeber you need more than 03 backlinks to get better visibility.

 

Like they said they are authority websites. Also, look at their PageRanks, if they are high page ranks, which those sites are prob above 5's then yes of course it is in our best interest. Don't forget the directories like dmoz.org too .

Directories aren't really valued as links in he SERPs so I wouldn't waste to much time on them. Not many people really search directories either. If you've got a big budget why not? but if you havn't steer clear of paid submissions to directories
