Hi Guys I have had a small program developed which I intend to release soon. The main aim of this program is to assist people in tracing stolen computers / laptops. What the program do: Once installed, everytime the PC or laptop connects to the Internet it sends a hit to my server where it logs the IP address. Users can receive email notificaions everytime the PC connects. Test Users: I need about 5 test users to check whether the program is working and report any errors to me. Payment: I will pay every test user $2 for a test via Paypal.
What if the stolen item has been reformatted and didn't have your apps installed... Or the thief don't have any internet connectivity... Can you trace that back? If you got your apps installed in the BIOS or something... that's another story...
