As stated, I need a code/plugin/whatever that does something like this: Until the date XX/XX/XXXX keep this post in the category BlaBla, WHEN it reaches the date YY/YY/YYYY move it to the category MooMoo. I need this because my blog is all about contests and contests only run from one day until another day, that way I could have a category such as "Still going..." and "Expired contests" you see?
Ya know, i can totally see what your looking for. but i've never come across a plugin that does such a thing. It'd be perfect for news sites and lots of other sites also. For the news sites it would be good to move 'hot topics' to a regular category after they weren't hot anymore (Could give them a lifespan of 5 days or something). It could possibly be done via PHP, but to be honest. i have no idea when it comes to coding. I'd guess it would need to be a plugin to have access to the categories and changing them around.
