I need a simple program that can run from my server/hosting and get results from Google/Yahoo based on my search query and output either to screen or a CSV (or any type of delimited file) format file that contains my results. So basically I input a search query: "Green Widgets" and the script outputs the results and seperates "POSITION", "TITLE", "DESCRIPTION", "URL"... you get the idea. I'd prefer it to have a simple web interface, just an input field really. I'd also prefer it to use an API instead of just scraping the results page as I can very easily make my own scraper script and I want this script to return ALL of the results, not just the first 1000 like Google returns from the website. You'd be better off using a parser for google's search results page. Their SOAP API allows a max of 1000 queries a day and max upto 10 results per query. The new AJAX API allows unlimited queries a day but max 8 results per query.
I was really hoping there was a way to get say 100K results from Google... oh well, I'll have to be happy with 1000 results. If anyone else knows a way around the 1000 results limit, let me know.
