I need a press release

    Hi, I have a new site and would like someone to write a press release. How many words are they normaly? How much do you charge? It is an Seo related site.

    Words: Generally looking at 300-600. With certain distribution models you'll need to keep it to around 380 words (including everything) to avoid being charged more. If you're distributing via fax, a good rule of thumb is to keep it to one printed page.

    Rates: You'll find everything from content writers to copywriters to actual PR people here offering the service, and you'll pay a pretty wide variety of rates depending on the quality you want and how you plan to use the release.
