    site: http://www.downtimereport.net

Question is, what advertising methods will give the best bang for the buck, and what am I going to have to spend to see some results?

All suggestions are welcome. I've not even done any link submissions yet...so that is likely where I'll start first.

Well let me ask you this question, who would be interested in knowing when their website goes up or down? If you're not hosting the site, then it's really out of your control, so what can you really do after you've been notified. If you can answer that question, then you'll probably know where/how to start marketing your service.

I like to shoot for 20% growth every month. Start with a budget of zero the first month, and then give yourself a limited budget for the following. Like...I can only spend $100 a month to improve my growth. If you are doing better than 20% without the $100 great. I use Google Adwords when I need help.
