I am looking for a template for a personal website that lets me add background music, video playing, picture slideshows, my thoughts, blogs/comments from users, mailing lists, links... also with an admin section that lets me modify and create categories/sections of pictures/texts, etc... can someone direct me? thanks
Try Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress or any other content management system. They would have what you want. Never tried Drupal so I can't tell you how well the plugins/modules work but I have used Joomla and although it has a steep learning curve it has some great plugins to let you do what you require. I'm more at home with Wordpress and though it is a blogging tool some have made it into just a static paged website tool. Great plugins and as far as me, I found it simple to use. Hope this helps you.
