I need a meta tag development / management tool.

I need a meta tag development tool, I market myself as a website promoter, and write all my meta tags within excel / word.

I need a program that focuses on developing tags, and producing them quickly.
Some sites I promote have 40+ pages of tags I need to write; my idea application sorts meta tags per page, per site and allows me to track changes with a history.

I don’t need link checking, relevancy, page analysis or submissions, just plain old meta tags in an easy to manage interface.

    Any suggestions?

Easy done if your talking about CMS, are you?

For example my data import plugin ,CSV 2 POST, creates tags and keywords using data that is going on the main body of a posts content. So 100% match!

Even outside of wordpress this would be a simple task for myself because I have the php functions already. I would often create something free but time is tight right now I can only charge for my time.

There must be something out there already?!

Hey, thanks for taking the time to reply!

Well CMS or Static I am not exactly worried about implementing the tags so much as writing them. I always follow strict relevancy guidelines, and ensure every title tag is unique and properly populated.

Sometimes I have to write meta tags for 25+ pages, that’s a lot of time especially when there service is only related to handful of keywords, I have to make damn sure I don’t duplicate the content.

What I really really want is a MySQL database with auto populating capabilities, kept off line just to monitor my various title tags and descriptions possibly with a history, I am talking a glorified excel file.

    Why?

In my city, if you search “Web Design Victoria” I am number 1, same goes for a plentiful amount of keywords related to my business, my competition knows this, and we compete weekly for various results.

I would like to know a history of let’s say my home page title tag from 3 or 4 edits ago,

    That would be useful.

I don’t even need ranking reports, keyword positioning or anything non related to a table and id.

However, the ability to manage more than one site is a must!
