I need a logo $100-$250

    I'm starting a new company called gogets.com

    The idea is that you can go to this site for business resources and have our mascot 'go get' what ever you need.

    go get SEO
    go get articles
    go get original content
    go get traffic
    go get directories
    go get business supplies

    I had my designer work up a cartoon like character that looks like he is running to go get something. I was picturing a guy in a suit with a cape in the running position. All I got was a bunch of clip art. I'm looking for something a little more original.

    Once we have the mascot I would like to have some banners & different size logos made. We can work on pricing for that. PM me if you are interested and I'll shoot you over my e-mail.

    I'm not 100% sure how this contest thing works. I'm used to having people send me over pdfs or some type of protected draft before I make payment.

    clarification:::::
    1.) What is the set contest prize for the Mascot?
    2.) I take it only a Mascot is needed at this point & not a logo?
    3.) Did you envision the mascot being a human or half human & half animal? (If animal, what animal characteristics)?
    4.) Normally in contests everyone posts the mock-ups in the thread for you to view (Not only does this help protect the designer, it helps protect you because other designers will normally point out if a copyright infringement has occurred) , is this fine with you?
    5.) Original work takes time from scratch, it could take me anywhere from 5 - 24 hours, what is the contest deadline?
    6.) Any additional information that may be helpful?

    P.S. A designer that keeps using clipart even though you don't want it & specified originality, isn't much of a designer. You'll find there are a few GREAT designers on DP that can create master pieces from scratch. You just have to provide good feedback for each & offer an honest prize to get their creative juices going :)

    In addition, 7 days is a good contest run time (Not too long, not too short)
