My client (further referred as Distributor) wants to open an offline shop in Ireland where he will be selling retail licensed software (Microsoft, Adobe, Symantec, CAD, Linux, etc). He hired me to do some research and write a business plan for him. What i need from this bid request is: you need to make research of wholesale software suppliers that conform with the following criteria: 1) Supplier is authorized and is ready to work with Ireland, i.e. supply the wholesale packs of retail software to the Distributor. 2) Supplier can provide the software to Distributor for commission, i.e. the Distributor doesn't have to pay the Supplier the full price of the software until the software is actually sold to a buyer. 3) The Supplier is NOT NECESSARILY is the producer of the software. It only has to be a company/individual who has a contract with the software producer (e.g. with Microsoft) under which the producer supplied the retail software to the Supplier for the future sale. 4) I need a list of the suppliers that work with well-known software, such as "Windows", "Photoshop", "MS Office", "Norton Antivirus", etc. Please do not include in your report things like "Supplier for CoolButNeverHeardOfIt Software". 5) The supplier is preferably based in Europe (but not necessarily as long as he agrees to work with Ireland). I need the following information on each supplier: 1) Business name. 2) Contact person name. 3) Main phone, fax and email. 4) Contact person's phone, fax and email. 5) List of brands and software names that the supplier can supply to an Irish Distributor. 6) General overview of the conditions of the contract between the Supplier and Distributor (deposit amount if any, initial limit of credit if any, duration of time which is allowed per one software package sale, etc - any relative information is welcome). Please indicate a number of suppliers that you will provide in your report together with your bid.
