i need a list of directories

    i need a list of free directories i can submit my new sports website to, anyone got a list of some free directories?

    @Dave: You should 'search' for other threads before this kind of questions :)

    Anyways.. here are my favorite lists:

    1. http://www.vmoptions.com/directory-list.php
    (concentrates on new directories, i have seen good acceptance with these directories though some of them vanish after a month or so) :)

    2. http://www.web-directories.ws/General/Free
    (I like how they have given editor comment on each directory)

    3. My free directory list :) http://managedirectorysubmissions.fastreviews.org/

    4. http://info.vilesilencer.com/ (list of 'good/clean' directories)

    There are many others but I like the above 4 :)

    Here's another list of directories. Use the search or the side links to narrow the list to free, general, high PR, etc.

    This is the best list, and one we use mainly for our directory submission service. Its a clean list - no dropped domains and other crap.

    I recently submitted to The Free Site http://www.thefreesite.com but am still waiting to be listed. Has a PR of 7 is I remember correctly.
