Can anyone tell me where I can research google keywords and find some affordable ones to start niche sites?
You can try this google tool http://www.google.com/sktool/# But - in adwords getting cheap keywords also relies on getting a good Quality Score - relevant landing page etc.
you should just use the google adwords keyword tool or the traffic estimator sandbox. they should help you. and then you "order" the list so you that you can see the lowest price at begin. and then you GET THESE keywords - that's all. quite easy.
Once you have a few keywords google will also recommend some to you. Those worked pretty well for me.
Also, I meant to say that you can have Google "check your site" for relevant key words. A lot are garbage but some have worked pretty well for me. In the end the best way to do it is test them, and use the estimator they give you.
Entertainment related keywords are most cheap but only works if your product is related to ent. world.
Ahhh i was just gonna name SEO Book Keyword tool - also kwbrowse dot com is another good freebie tool to use to find niches and keywords you may not have thought of.
try keywordspy.com, or keycompete.com, they'll give you 10 most popular keywords for a domain you put ( find a domain from a relevant site promoting the same nich), these 10 is a good start for google keyword tool
I think it is better to figure out the niche and find cheap keywords for it, rather than looking for cheap keywords first. Even expensive looking keywords can be made cheap with good CTR and QS.
Why don't you just check your keywords against the Google Adwords Tool? - https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal This will show you the "average CPC" as well as the "competition" that your up against for each keyword/phrase... I think this is your best route. Cheers! Jeremiah
I think quality score of keyword and ads define the cpc of particular keyword. if you have low quality score means higher the cpc. if you have high quality score lower the cpc and better chance for your ads.
Yep, it's a good thing. One more for cheap keywords is semrush service. You can also use Google Trends for finding cheap keywords, it is especially good when looking for seasoned keywords like 'buy winter rubbish in California'. You can filter the cheap keywords using WordTracker, taking the phrases with query rate not more than 300.
