Hey. I am looking for hosting for TorrentFlux. It will be for personal use, and i will be the only one using it. There will be no traffic. It will just be used by me. I require alot of bandwidth, if not unmetered. Space: about 200gb This can be on a shared server, or any other, i dont really mind, but speed should be good and server should be fast with good uptime. As i am looking for a shared hosting, i dont think there is no point in sharing my budget. Thanks.
I dont think there are many, if any at all, shared hostings that allow Torrentflux. You are looking for a VPS Minimum . 200gb space would cost you already quite a lot.
You will need a dedicated server or vps, torrentflux is a resource hog and that is the main reason people dont want it on their servers, not only does it cause high loads on the server it also eats away at bandwidth like there is no tommorrow. Apart from that hosts are very wary about bittorrent traffic as its hard to tell if the thing that is being seeded is legal or not.
