I have just limped my way through creating a web page using HTML and Notepad. But I have desperate need of a "What's New" box to advise of additions or changes and have not been able to find any tutorial or sample codes. I would really like for the "What's New" to self generate as I make changes, but perhaps that is a more advanced technique than the existing pages will allow and I might have to manually make the notes in something like a comment box, which is Plan B. I did find codes for a comment box and was able to get it to appear on the page, but when I submitted a "test" comment, an error came back that there was no such page. The instructions to making a comment box does not tell you where or how to direct the newly submitted comment so it will stay in the comment box and be viewed by any reader. Plan C would be to manually put the info in the source, but there's got to be an easier way. Any advice, suggestions, or direction would be greatly appreciated. My level in web design is novice, at best. Thanks ahead of time. Sherry site in question: http://sherrysharp.com/southpark and desired location for this "What's New" or "Comment" box would be one at the end of the left column and one at the end of the right column.
Thanks for the link. It's looks like there's some neat stuff there, but I didn't see what I'm looking for - unless I overlooked it. But I appreciate it.
