I need a good WYSIWYG Editor. It's for a client who knows no HTML. I was using Nvu and it works ok but we keep getting error messages due to the way the program works. Plus, uploading images isn't the easiest. So I need suggestions. Dreamweaver is to spendy and complicated. I want to stay away from Frontpage. I'd like something cheap or free. Much like Nvu only something that works a little better. Oh and must have the ability to easily connect to a site via FTP for getting and publishing files. Thanks
Have you taken a look at Net Object Fusions? I used it when I started out with WYSIWYG editor. I think it's faster to build a site using it. However, it has been about 3 yrs since I used it (now I'm using DW) and do not know what has happened to it .. However, all I can say is it's faster to create a site with it than with DW..and it's a lot more easier to use as well ..Plus, a brief look at the site shows that they now have nice templates available too It's not free though!
Net Objects is like $200 which seems quite spendy. SiteSpinner is only $50. So that's leading right now.
How can u e ver replace DW with a WYSIWYG editor? if u r looking for an easy content site management tool with editing and uploading options, then go for Macromedia Contribute 3.
Check out CssWing. It's a free online WYGISYG CSS editor Just google for CssWing - Online CSS Editor, you will get the site.
