Fly fishing is a great sport. But have you ever tried catching trout on a coarse fishing tackle. Better still try a hand line lol. I have I made my own hand line with an old rubber dog bone I found. I attatched a strenghtner to the rubber dog bone and wrapped some fishing line around it. To make the casting of the fly which was on a barbles hook easier I put a tiny lead wait on the side closet to the handle area to cast ot. To make the fly float O also use a ping pong ball painted black lol about 2 foot away from the fly. The question is did I catch anything? Answer! Yes a DAMN Cold! It was raining!
