umm not very many topics that you can just BLOG about and MAKE money.... Maby try... errrr.... computers? that is a huge search, and maby your personal life (there are people out there that just read these things) and if its a free blog, your only option is blogger.com for adsense, and you need to update alot. another way is to blog wares (not a good idea, but there are profits) if you play games, blog about that
When starting a new blog, you will want to focus on something you actually enjoy doing and writing about. Picking a niche to create a blog about that you do not like will not get you very far. Unless you plan on scraping the content, in which case the blog will not get very far because your content can be found elsewhere. Ask yourself, what do you like to do? What are your hobbies? What do you know a lot about? If you can answer those questions, then you will find a blog to start.
First of all ask yourself, that whats your interest in? what you like to write about? make it yr passion. then write about it. promote your blog, money will flow for you for sure. Good luck.

Why don't you just blog about something that your familiar with? Blog about your hobbies, interests, etc. and worry about monetizing later.
Start your blog with what you enjoy or interesting. Writing articles for your blog and make traffic. If you don't know how to write article by yourself. you may get articles from article directory such as free article directory

Try http://www.wordpressdirect.com or http://www.blogetery.com (use THAT for your subdomain as well, unless you have a domain, which they support, free) They each have their perks - WPD has an autoposting slew of tools that usually cost a pretty penny (not all they are cracked up to be as far as I can tell, maybe you can find a way to leverage those tools better than I, do share) and blogetery will show your adsense 90% of the time, although on my own refresh-page-a-few-hundred-times, it did seem like mine came less - but it is free, and it does have lots of extras. Worst that can happen is you can just open your own host once you make enough cash and migrate to your own wordpress with the push of a button, then delete your free blog (or leave a link since ull prolly have readers since u profited) If you want a really fast way to get money (and keep getting money) and don't mind writing or re-hashing/rewriting stuff, check out the blue link in my sig, it will get you ready for 100+ a month, easy. Try squidoo.com, they have ideas and what to build a squidoo on. You can also use Google to search for stuff to blog on. You can also use MSN adcenter to check if the keyword has commercial value.
I suggest stop thinking about something that you can make a lot money from and start thinking something you know well and love to blog about. If you can interest enough people with your writing and update your blog regularly you can gain a following which may or may not generate a lot of revenues.
