Hi Everybody, I would like to buy some domains for my new sites and when I search for a good one in the "domain buy & sell forum" in DP, I found it's quite difficult to know if it's a good domain or not, please kindly share your experience with me, thank you very much. Here's some of my questions - What if a domain is banned by SE like Google and Yahoo, how can I check it? - What if a domain is banned by Google AdSense, how can I possibly know? - What if a domain's PR is not confirmed, what is the possible reason for that? (I know it may be expired and re-registered, and it's will appear to be a new domain, but what if the case when it is an very old domain?) - If an old domain is never been indexed by Google, will it be still in the sandbox for a long time even if it is old? Please help.
Check history of domain in search engines, if there are many old links, and domain isn't indexed, then it can be banned. Ban with Adsense shoudn't happen and should not affect new owner (but it is recommended to ask Adsense team directly).
You have to be careful when buying a domain here... more than the other sub forums I find that people in the domain buy/sell area are out for a quick buck and often try to get away with "less than honest" tricks like faking PR and what not. That being said, buy the domain that's best for your business. You can overcome any problems with the domain's history and even get re-included in the search engines. So make choosing the RIGHT domain your primary concern and don't worry too much about other factors unless you are looking to cash in on the PR. - check a google ban by looking at the PR, if it's PR0 you are OK, gray bar in the toolbar could mean trouble. - do a search "site:domain.com" on all the search engines to see if it's indexed - search google for "fake PR check" and you will get many tools to check for fake PR... it's not always fake though... but it's a chance you might not be willing to take. - take a look at who your buying FROM. itrader is only a small part of it, how long are they on the forum? Are they active outside buy/sell? -trust your gut. Good luck.
just search google. if there is no indexed page, it's banned or it's a new page. it's not possible you to know it the reason may be that the owner of that domain is trying to cheat from you if the domain is never indexed by google, it's a new domain in the eye of google
