I need a good business directory script. Been thinking of getting PMD and having it custom coded. Are there any better suggestions out there? Thanks in advance!
I have futzed around with phpld a few times. It is sound enough I suppose. Not alot of fun to have to design if I remember correctly. I tested one developed by a guy in England a while back that was really nice. It had proper separation of logic from design. It was pretty cool. I can't for the life of me remember what it was though. I will hunt it down and chime back in when I have it. I have phpld sitting on a test server located here http://www.thegraphicdesignresource.com I seem to recall modding a bit to add that news block on the front to add some relevant content to the fray. If I can remember the admin login you are welcome to poke around. You are also welcome to the database dump if you need it. It would only really help if you were doing something similar categorically though. There shouldn't be any actual links on it. It was however quite taxing to get all the categories set up in that particular instance. It is also at least a build or two old. hope that helps, Nigel
