    No, you don't. Posting on those types of blogs (.edu and such) may get your site demoted in Google. Spamming blogs is never a good thing.

    For free guest posting you need unique contents because no one webmasters will add duplicate contents to his website.
    So, either you have to write unique contents (If you have writing skill) or you have to use any professional.
    I will suggest you to create unique contents and submit them to top sites like hubpages, ezinearticle, articlebase,buzzle etc.. These are very reputed websites and backlinks from these sites will help you lots.
    In short search for article directory and submit there unique contents .... Get approval and get high quality backlinks.
    Its very good than free guest posting and any spam website because according to me any website who is accepting free guest posting either have not good reputation or multipurpose and they are accepting all types of contents to make some revenue from advertisement or some other ways and this is not good for your site health.

    There are really many valuable sites where you can publish guest posts for free. I recommend looking for something in your industry.

    Try to start by finding sites that do not have a very high rank, DR 35-40.
    Study these sites and find the most popular niches, find the most popular guest posts to see if you can write in that vein.Create the best ideas that will generate genuine interest from readers.
    You can also talk directly to these bloggers and get their ideas.

    That's what helped me. Maybe it will help you too.

    write for us + your keyword

    Example write for us + Social Media Marketing
