Hi, does anyone know of a program people can use to share files? I am looking to create a site where people can share files like word documents, .zip files, .tar files, .pdf's, and others by uploading them to the host site. The only programs that I have found so far seem to be quite unfriendly to use, which is not what I am looking for. I am looking at a specific niche (Role Play Games), and I want to create a community about sharing files for adventures. Ideally, I would like people to have to sign in to the program to use it, with options for payment to use the system, but that is not vital. The ones which come close to what I am looking for store the files on a mysql server, with a .php interface, but I am sure that isn't the only way. I am not just looking for free programs, I am also looking at paid ones, but I want to host the site myself. Also ideally, would be the means to plug some form of advertising into the system, such as adsense, banners, or other affiliate based things. Any help on this would be appreciated. Cheers.
