As I am currently working on my first Paid Directory, I am strongly realising that I will need PayPal method of payment to be a success & get more submissions. (For now, I have setup MB & E-gold)

So, why I need a partner??

I don’t have PayPal and I can’t have as my country “Pakistan” is not in supported country list by PP. So, I will need someone with PayPal account to accept PP payments.

I don’t need access to PayPal so you don’t need to worry about your account security.

All you have to do is setup some kind of Notification method so I would know who made the payment & how much. (May be with an added e-mail & using phpLD notification method that can be done but I don’t know how). In that way, I will be able to approve links quickly. That’s why I am posting it here so the “Partner” should be running a directory.

I will bug you only when I would have to make a refund other than that (with notification setup working properly) I will not be disturbing you much. (This can be discuss further.)

I will ask you to send/transfer money to me when ever the balance will reach $100. You can either send that by MoneyBookers or by E-Gold. So, the partner must have one of them. (This can be discuss further.)

Let me know your terms/conditions any fees involve and anything you would like to say. I am open to almost every offer. You don’t need to make any investment.

I will not be giving details about the site here. If you are interested & willing to be a partner, let me know and we can discuss it in detail. I would prefer someone with decent reputation here.

We can chat on MSN/YIM or even Skype.

I was in your situation a while back.. and still am, but made a unverified paypal account and all the money from paid submissions I reinvest in advertising and new domain names. I have other income sources and what comes from paypal is reinvested wisely. you can buy links, submission programs, scripts, templates, lots of things you might need in a internet business (even hosting and domain names) so.. it's not really worthy looking for a partner who might screw you one day..

This might sound like a stupid question, but couldn't you just get a MBE box or address in the States? can't you have a business in the US even when you reside anywhere else?

    Shouldn't be that difficult.

My country is not supported by PP either. But i use it, sometimes i spend it for other stuff on the web and sometimes i sell pp money to someone from my country with a commision(between 5%-8%).

I'd not count on anyone i don't know for real, when money is involved, much less in the way you plan to.

Paypal pisses me off, I could upgrade to a premier account and every transaction will be -30 cents or I could keep it personal and not be able to accept more than 5 credit card tranactions a year.

I guess thats the price of doing business though..

If you share one account with others using different email, then there is still some prob. You can retrieve password from email. but if you trust your friend's integrity....

I'd prefer paying the 30 cents and being able to accept all the payments. I now have to decline around $100/week and will remain so until I will be in the mood of adding the multiple payment options mod (2CO, moneybookers etc)

I am afraid this is not possible for me. I tried to get information regarding it few weeks back but the paperwork involved & requirements are too much for me right now.

I wish i could have any other option ....

ummm. I am not sure why that can be a problem. The e-mail not necessarily have to be my e-mail ID. I was saying that with some e-mail ID & PHPLD notification method, I "might" be able to get Payment notifications so I would not need to confirm with the person every time a submission is done.
(This would only save time to approve submissions)

But again, this can be discussed. I am sure there will be some ways to get it done.

In any case, by no means i will like to get someone into trouble so if you think there is some kind of security issue, let me know.

Ok i do not understand if you are looking for a partners, whats wrong with that partner approving the link themselves instead of setting up a payment notification thing?

Personally i will give no one access to my paypal's email account ever. There is no such thing as added email with paypal, payment notifications go only to primary email id, not to secondary email account, unless paypal changed their system now a days.

What i do not understand is how will you pay your partner for the chargeback cases that might occur later on with someone who made a payment for a link ? Since you do not have paypal?

Thanks for clearing it out for me. It looks like I was wrong there. I thought may be PP will send a notification of the payment to “added email”. (What I was saying initially was only to reduce the burden for the partner and make a quick approval)

I didn’t know that “Notification” is send to primary email only. In that case, the person can confirm that he got the payment by using any method. (IM/PM) There would be some ways to identify who made that payment. (Perhaps Item No). The point is, if I got two submissions but only one payment, I would have to know who made that payment.

    Two things:
    1) As I said, the person need to have either e-gold or MB to send me the payment (after deducting whatever fees we agree upon)
So, in case of charge back, I WILL pay using my MB or e-gold.

    2) As I am not asking to send me $$ with each transaction, (Minimum would be $100) so, if someone go for a charge back for what ever reason, you can simple minus that amount.

Lastly, rest assure, I don’t want anyone to get in trouble for that. I asked this as I thought someone will be able to help me out there. If anyone is willing/interested we can discuss each & everything in detail. I think a better communication is required for that so just let me know your MSN/YIM ID and we can talk.

I don’t need access to PayPal, don’t even need any notifications as paidhosting cleared it cant be done, the payment is coming in your account and you can hold it for a certain period of time, so where is the Risk involved ????
