I have an online classifieds website. In that visitors can post their advertisements and moderator will approve the posts. It has cities and categories. This is how it is working. Here the problem is only the latest advertisements are performing well in google. Old advertisement's traffic is getting reduced. I would want to know what could be the reason and how to improve it. As the ads on your site are getting older, they move on to the second page. Now, we all know that links on the homepage are likely to get the maximum clicks. So what you can do is design your site well and make separate positions for banner ads, links on homepage, put the links in separate categories rather than all in the same place. You need to manage the site really well and only leave some special/high paying links on the homepage and the rest in properly designed categories (very similar to directories)
