    Hello, I usually go the paid route when it comes to advertising, however I understand that a lot of people try to use free ads only. I have put together a little FAQ about sites where users could go to submit links for an upcoming referral project:

    I already have infosilencer and Linkreferral as some suggestions for effective free sites to submit links to, but do you know of any others other than Google/Yahoo/Alexa. Thanks.

    I just introduced a feature on SEOyak.com that lets you put free ads on any story that you submit. It's a social news site (like Digg) where users submit and vote on stories about search engine optimization.
