Hello everyone! I'm looking for a coding buddy that knows HTML, PHP, and MySQL. I know some HTML, and I know some PHP (Learning), and a bit of MySQL. As I am learning I would like someone to kind of co-code with me, and help me develop a site (but mainly the applications to go on the site. I would like to make a site with someone that is simple, and can display projects small, and large! If you think you can help just post here or send me a PM thanks :)

Actually I have not even used my site! I have been doing everything locally so I guess I'm pretty much looking for someone to help co-code with me using TeamViewer :) so we can write some scripts! :)

The best way is to ask someone in real life, not in the forums. Cuz the communication is more effective

Sorry =/ I have no friends who can do this. If I had a friend that knew PHP I would definitely go to his house, and work on code with him but I don't =/

As Rainulf stated you'd be better finding someone who lives in your local area to help you out, Communication over Skype and other IM clients can be a very difficult way off trying to learn to code.

I'd say just for now buy a few PHP books and learn from those and then once you've built part off your site approach another developer asking if they would want to be a part off it.

Goal orientated learning is the way forward. You say you want to learn PHP and MySQL but to what end?

Its usually best to create yourself a little project, split that project down into manageable chunks, then tackle each one in turn. Its much easier to find out how to create an image uploader, than decide one day 'I want to create a social networking site'.

All the information you need is at your fingertips, you just need to search about a bit. mentors and books are way overrated, everything I know managed to find out about all on my own :)

Check http://www.w3schools.com/PHP/ for understanding the basic of PHP
If you use editor like netbeans, then it will be easier to code for you :) Though (I think) best way to learn is do everything without the help of intelligent editor/IDE

The thing is, I don't see a lot of people being interested in doing your work, in exchange of being your temporary "buddy", until your project is done. No offense.
