My girlfriend recently came across this site www.oddee.com and since she introduced me to it, I have just realised that I have been on it for almost 4 hours, seems like 20 minutes! I have been looking at creating a facts site for a long time, but never had the time to start. I do however have plenty of time now but don´t really know where to start. I need to know what a good media grabber I could use to pull facts from across the net and how I could incorporate this into a blog or forum. I would want to pull interesting facts and place them in categories. The grabbed media would also have to be HTML or search engine friendly as I would like to place targetted ads on there. Can any one reccommed a PHP script or software that could help me? I have a perfect domain name for the site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
It's a simple CMS and I think it is reading feeds from other websites (I suppose principal infotainment sites), and ta-dah! Publishing in a website. Are you searching for something free or something to pay? If you are searching for something free the best way is Wordpress with some plugins able to grab feeds and republishing, or you can use a digg clone (just searching on google you will find tons of digg clones), if otherwise you are searching for something paid I believe I can help you ;-)
