As you may already know, I'm Romanian, living in Romania. Romania is not on ClickBanks's list, so I have to find a way to get there somehow. Let's say I want to sell an eBook, using ClickBank, for $25. I sell the first chapter for $5 and the rest for $20. The first chapter is sold through ClickBank, using my partener's account, who is allowed to have a ClickBank account. The link to the rest of the eBook is on the last page of the first chapter, and will lead to my site, where I can get the money by PayPal/CreditCard or MoneyBookers. My partener will keep all the money he got for selling the first chapter. I'll be satisfied with the rest, if I can get. The partener will not have to show me any stats, or disclose any account information to me, except for the affiliate link, which I will need on my site, to advertise the eBooks. The only effort the partner will have to make is to add that eBook on his list of products (s)he sells. Would you like to be my partner on this? Do you have a better idea?
I'm not sure if this is the best approach. Why do you want to be a part of ClickBank to begin with? Is it to take advantage of the affiliate arena? If so - you're shooting yourself in the foot - here's why: 1. If you are charging $5 at CB - you will NOT get affiliates - at least not good ones (payout is too low). 2. Affiliates find out that you are monetizing on the backend without them they will resent you (it's called a leak, and is very unadmirable). 3. Perhaps make 2 sites, one for CB at full price with great commission and no leaks, and the other with a paypal gateway, do not cross promote the two. Hope this helps you a little - affiliate recruitment is hard on high priced items - promoting a $5 product with even a 75% payout is not very much, and then you potentially making the $20 without me turns me off from an aff's view. NC.
>>> Perhaps make 2 sites, one for CB at full price with great commission and no leaks. Okay, if I wrote the eBook, how I'm going to make people to be my affiliates if I can't make any CB account? Or, it's something that I don't know - perhaps I don't understand how CB works. Can you be my affiliate, you having a CB account, while I don't have one? I don't want to start with CB, I want to get CB as well. I'm enrolled in several other programs, who accept Romania. However, there are some product which I wanted to resell that asked me for a CB account. >>> promoting a $5 product with even a 75% payout is not very much, and then you potentially making the $20 without me turns me off from an aff's view. The product price is $25. You get $5 at every sale, I may not get it (in the worst scenario) on any sell. I'm trying to market the product - you just add each product once. Still doesn't seem fair?
Perhaps if you can't open an account with CB you should try to open one with paydot.com and try to publish your e book with them . They have affiliates over there too
