i need a calendar! i don't know php - is it possible with only html and css?

    i know that php can handle calendar's but i know absolutely nothing about php!

    am i going to be stuck setting my event update page manually? i've done that before and it's not ALL that bad but it'd be nice to be able to have a more calendar-like client running...

    You don't need to know php! there are many, many free calendar scripts. html and css are structure and styling, no programming there. If you want to be able to update your stuff via a control panel you will have to use a RoR/PHP/Whatever type system.
