I just joined a membership site that makes setting up and maintaining blogs a piece of cake.What's more it has content and cross promotion with a huge network of blogs all built in. Plus there is amazing educational content via videos which detail the whole system - the guy who built it thought of everything. I think this would be an awesome solution for you and much better value than paying someone to build a single blog. Paying some one to built a site will be great instead of using the boring templates of the 3rd party websites. A webdesigner will also guide him how to maintain his website.
