Hi I need a ASP/Access driven directory script preferably with nice interface and FREE. Could you advice some? Thanks
theirs gotta be one in this listing... http://www.webscriptsdirectory.com/ASP/Link-Directory-Scripts/
thanks for this, I've looked here before. Do you know any SEO friendly, that would be very helpful. Thanks
http://www.creadirectory.com/ didn't look to bad regarding SEO friendlyness. However, they are using 302 redirects on their links and the HTML isn't good enough in my eyes. I had the same "problem" a while ago, but didn't find any directory that suited my needs so I built my own. Tableless, layout presented with CSS, valid XHTML etc. Unfortunately this directory concept isn't for sale (it's still under development), and it's also running on MS SQL and not on Access.
Gulliver I have been looking for the same thing my self for ages , please let me know if you find anything. ( via PM ) what did you think of www.creadirectory.com any others come up paul
Mano70: thanks for the quick review of my Creadirectory script but you have the choice between "direct link" or a "redirect". "Redirect" is used for counting outside clicks and "direct link" points to the url without using any redirect.
I can pull one from my db for FREE for my friend, just can't find the time, Please view a sample at www.hay.am/links I know I should modify it a bit
Here's an ASP Directory script http://www.codefixer.com/app_linkspro/default.asp that is search engine friendly with full file path amongst other features.
To tell you the truth not a bad one for ASP, What would you say about Armenian Websites I am thinking of turning it into an installable directory. Do you think ASP devs will like and use it? The estimated price for sale will be from $$30-100
It's extremely easy to be made even with all those bells and whistles like tumbnails, alexa ranking progress bar, Google page raning progess bar and all other stuff. Actually i have read on this forum that guy has already made that and offers for free. If i find the link i will post it. Also if i am not lazy i could possibly make an ASP.NET directory submission application and share with you here. Regards
