give it a good hard think though.
do you really NEED that much?
digg.com was started with $200 and a trip to an e freelancing website with no real promotion at all.
If your idea really is a good one, then word of mouth will serve you fine :D

I am in the same situation as you. However, i would learn to code the website first (if its not too complicated.) Once the site is up and running, then you can see large amounts of money coming your way. Right now the research you did will give you an idea of what already exists, but research alone will not get you 20K. But i do wish you the best of luck and hope you succeed.

I live in the UK but I can chat on the phone or PalTalk or skype. I can assure you this is not a stupid idea. Most of you will kick yourself once this website is launched. It really is a big gap in the market. I am surprised no company has took action in spotting this idea. It is so simple and yet so unique.

$20,000 seems too much of money for someone with 14 posts, and joined barely a month ago

I am not a native English speaker however it does seem to me that his written English is not that of an adult native English speaker. If I am mistaken then please do forgive my remark.

I think you are definitely mistaken mate, and yes, you are forgiven. I just can't see how an adult native English could have written any better than this guy.

Altho' I assume that the userid "Marketing Consultant" is taken and you end up with "Marketing Consulant" instead...:) I am interested in listening to your biz idea...PM me.

I was wondering about the spelling of his forum name also.

Anyway. I don't think this a good place to get $20,000. You can take out a business loan from the bank.

    I agree.
I don't know why you didn't try a bank fist.
Try a VC forum, venture capital is what you're really looking for

    Hi guys.
Initially I asked for $20,000 but I think thats a bit too much for what I am asking.

The main investment that I need is to code the website and I have had expensive quotes so far. I would initially need $10k to code the website or less, with a fully integrated shopping cart.

Some of you have messaged me and have outlined their questions and have not really understood the idea.

I think the marketing of this idea can spread from word of mouth.

Thanks for the input so far into this. Appreciate it. If I cannot find a investor on here I will look other avenues but once I launch I will let you guys know!
