    what do you plan on using this for?

    Depending on your hardware requirments you may end up paying $20-$25 each for something reliable - mainly because windows licenses aren't free.

    I would suggest getting a Dedicated server and paying for 1 Microsoft license. Like njoker said its not cheap.

    Correct the license costs quite something. But there are some here I know who provide pirated windows on their VPS for free.

    windows vps usually cost slightly more than the linux ones. and linux ones can come with a convenient control panel. if you are low on budget you may want to consider the linux ones too...
