ok so i can write great ads, my adwords account average is 5% ctr, some of them are in the double digits and 2 are above 20%. so i know thats not the problem (im not using 'free' in the ads at all btw). but i never seem to be able to convert to sales. i am direct linking by the way. anyone got any good tips for product selection in the clickbank marketplace?

It would make more sense to tell us the type of products because it could be the products that are not good enough to make people want them. LOL

a broad variety really. how many clicks should you usually let a campaign run fore before giving it the flick?

I think it should be based on ROI - if you make $30 per sale I wouldnt spend over $30 to $45 testing it.

Try running a few campaigns through a presell page first. Or,
try pushing them to a squeeze page and giving them a 5 or
6 message long autoresponder series before offering your
    product.

As for ClickBank - aim for ones that have a high gravity, since
    you know they're selling well.
