I moved to WordPress!

How's it going everyone!

I would just like to let you know (especially those who are frequent readers of my blog) that I have moved away from my old blog platform, RapidWeaver, to WordPress. So far I am loving it.

So why I am posting a thread about this? Well, one of the cool thinks about WordPress is its widget where I can show the Top Commentators for my blog. Now since all my old comments have been deleted after the transition, I am looking for new comments for my articles. So that's where you guys come in. I have removed the no-follow for the comment feature PLUS added the Top Commenters plugin. The more comments (high-quality) you leave, the more links you'll get, so start commenting!

AWSOME blog i am just getting started with wordpress my blog is no where near as good as yours but i was woundering how you add a clickable banner to wordpress blogs or clickable images?

 

Thanks for the compliment. To answer your question, it really depends on where you want to place your images. After you set that up, just add an HTML link to it. If you need more info, feel free to ask.

 

Same here too... I started out using Joomla, but I find it hard to maintain and then decided to move it to WordPress, and let it function like a blog

 

Very nice blog you have there slyvisions. I'm also a fan of the top commentators plugin. Could you explain a little behind your thought process in regards to removing nofollow in your comments section. Does it attract many spammy comments.

 

It attracts comments in general, and yes, it attracts spam too. But there are plugins out there that automatically deletes spam. As of right now, I delete them manually since I'm not getting much. If it gets real bad, I will install the plugin that deletes them automatically.

 

Thanks slyvisions, like you said, providing you are using a good spam blocker it shouldn't be a problem.

 

Wordpress is the best blogging platform, no doubt. The best part of it is that it has a large database of themes and plugins.
