I made my first sale but want to know how to track keywords

Well, I made my first two sales this week. It feels good, like CB really works! I am advertising one product that got me these sales. I did alot of blogs, articles, and got no sales from the other products I wanted to promote. But, this niche is a really needed niche in today's society so I just purely advertised it on adwords. But, trying to minimize my budget for adwords how do I know which keywords are generating sales? I could have one keyword that gets 28 clicks and another keyword that gets 5 clicks but how do I determine which one gets me the sales?

You can use one of three methods:
    1) Issue each keyword a TID. The problem - phrase match and broad match will not give you a specific result.
    2) Buy a tracking software (or get a free one if such software exists).
    3) Ask the publisher to put Google Conversion Tracking on his thank you page.

I personally prefer number 3. It shows the publisher you are serious and it's also free and accurate.

How do you determine if there is a google conversion on the sellers thank you page since I did not purchase the product and just advertising it? Thanks!

You can't determine if there's Google conversion tracking on the seller's thank you page. You either look for it on the affiliate tools (some publishers allow you to add a hoplink parameter to track this) or ask the publisher to put your own code.
Email the publisher. He won't kill you. ;)
