about EU 50 a day...i tried to max out the 50 for PPC and get as many clicks as possible. The good thing is i have ridiculous low min CPC, majority of them EU 0.03 min CPC. Someone on another webmaster forum said he thought there is a minimum CPC on adwords of 0.10 Nope.....95% of my ads are only $0.03 min CPC. So...my cost was not even EU 700 for the 14 days. You can also start low and make "some" money first with very little budget and then pump what you earned in PPC and go full force..but its highly advisable to have some decent amount which you can spend on adwords since the method is basically all PPC driven
It should be interesting to see how your doing at the end of this week. Can you post another screen shot in a weeks time
GeorgR, Don't feel it is necessary to update this thread with the news you told on another thread? Guys read this: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=501855 But I agree with you George. A mere 1.7% to affiliate is total BS.
that's why i switched to classic = 4% on anything. Problem is amazon merely "hides" that information..so i made the very first sale and got only EU10...my chin almost fell down
Why don't you make an ebook if you can earn extra thousand without really giving away the bean ? There are still a large amount of hard work, research and money involved other than buying Amazon Hunter and throwing away some bulk keywords.
I knew it would be coming from somebody, becoz that was exactly my thoughts as well. And now, that $9.99 ebook will be coming as well.
hmm...i would sell and promote my grandma's teeth - if she had any But joke aside, nothing wrong with marketing, or even "marketing the marketing"..after all, it's webmaster/marketing forum jim: How do you know the ebook will be that cheap ?
Hey GeorgR. After reading your blog I got to researching and believe I have found an excellent niche with several keywords around .05 - .10 per click. I'm hoping you can answer a couple of my questions.. Did you have the PPC ads follow amazon to the home page or did you actually bring potential buyers right to the product page? How many different products did you promote? Any advice without giving to much of your secret away would be awesome. Thanks for your help! Jake
Majority of ads is going right to amazon with my aff-id in the destination URL. The few ads where there is a competiting URL i have my own sites for. I made sure to use KW and ads with no or few competition on adwords. Btw. did i read your question right ? Right to the product-page.
I mean the actual product page on amazon. For instance, let's assume I'm trying to create sales on a 14k Yellow Gold 6mm Engraved Wedding Band . I would have my google ad pointing here: http://tinyurl.com/2gnmsm rather than to the homepage of amazon. To be honest, I'm not sure whether or not that's possible with the amazon affiliate program, as I haven't joined yet. Just thought I'd ask for clarification. Thanks, Jake
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000FQJM94/YOURID-HERE is the easiest way to point straight to a product / your ID just at the end. TinyURL and similiar i avoid in general since they're always looking a bit shady. Regarding your link: Cant say if this works, but usually should if you encode your proper amazon URL with the ID properly embedded. But basically it works, yes Edit: cheezzuss...i just see someone ordered a EU 5.000 Plasma TV, always makes me happy..thats EU200 for one single item
In my .DE campaign they're in german, and in my INTL campaign they're in english I still think that google should provide location-targeting per AdGROUP.
@GeorgR. : that's some excellent work man. Good job with the spectacular earnings, they really seem out of this world for me . Hope I can catch up in the affiliate marketing scheme soon enough
I'm still missing the point.. Where is the magic here? I mean, yes, you can point directly to any amazon product with your ID at the end.. That's easy... We script that thousands of times a day with over 100 different amazon IDs... So, the magic in what GeorgR did is in the marketing, right? That's the only thing I can see... Other than selecting expensive products in a country where the keyword competition seems to lower than in the US, what am I missing???? Sorry to be so thick...
purdue, can you explain/PM about your site in the sig. Interested. Purdue: to answer your question. The "magic" is in the fact that i used a tool to get each and any item off amazon and i am able to filter out any product which has competition on adwords. In addition i can filter and select products, say, all products over $3999 only. The Adwords ads wil be created automatically and i can shove all those ads right to my adwords account. It's impossible to do that manually. (At least in a reasonable amount of time).
