i currently use epassporte, i like them, they never limited my account, although it is a cheap company but they gave me a VCC which is really really good!
I can certainly understand your frustration with having your account limited as it can be rather annoying and often downright draconian. However, as someone who has had their account hijacked multiple times (long story), the system can really save you. When I called them up (aside from the occasional arrogant prick insisting I have a keylogger on my computer over and over), they were really helpful in getting my information and account secure, as well as diagnosing the issue, moments after my account had been flagged and automatically limited. As it turns out, there was no keylogger, someone had my bank account numbers and were recovering the account via that method (Lost Password); Thankfully an intelligent customer service rep told me this so I could actually deal with the issue. I Might've just been lucky a few times, but I'm prone to favor a service that might be occasionally inconvenient as opposed to frequently disastrous when it comes to account issues, fraud, and chargebacks (as I hear can be the case with Alertpay). On that note, PayPal likely isn't going to be anything other than number one for a long time, considering they have eBay (other way around, actually, meh) promoting them. The secret to dealing with PayPal is to just call back and get someone else who doesn't have a fork lodged up their hind quarters .
I have been using Paypal for many years now, and I haven't encountered any problems either. What exactly happened?
happened to me last year when I logged in through a U.S proxy by mistake, made a call and the issue was resolved in 5 minutes.
yes i can't agree with you more paypal is great but the way it works is bad specailey for costumers like us that's wat maybe alertpay is better
PayPal sucks - why even use them... Everybody should use AlertPay when their sending fees decrease. I usually use Liberty Reserve now.
I prefer PayPal, now that all my limitations are lifted. But you know you can convert between PayPal and AlertPay?
What some folks fail to recognize is that PayPal's size is what makes these occasional limitations necessary. So if these other rinky dink processors become as large as PayPal (unlikely in my mind) they will come under the same governmental scrutiny and be forced to comply as well. It's relatively easy to avoid limitations, read the user policy and do your research. They are not "out to get you" despite a few squeaky wheels.
