    I have been using Windows 7 for a while now. Compared to Windows Vista, it is a huge improvement in terms of performance. The new look adds plenty of eye candy which is a refreshing change from windows xp. Overall i think windows 7 is a good replacment for XP.

    Laptop generally start to overheat in time cause of dust problems, so you should from time to time clean it with compressed air, where the fans are. Also, try to use some form of silicone keypad protection to keep dust away, and use notebook cooler with a single but large fan (its quiet).

    Yes that is correct but, windows 7 Ultimate version is best than windows 7 home premium or at lest you go for windows 7 professional.

    Window 7 is among the best of window OS. very simple interface and easy to use. For me window 7 is reflect to vista interface but performance just another XP awesome man!:)

    window 7 is based on vista ...
    and better than vista...
    but ,it not stable by now ...
    XP is more stable than 7 ...
    Microsoft admitted that Vista was a unsuccessful product ....
